Where are Techismo support technicians located?

All of our technicians are located in the United States at our office in Southwood Dr, Kernelsville,NC.All  Techismo employees work out of our Hartford office.

Are Techismo technicians going to be able to fix my issue or answer my questions effectively?

Absolutely. All technicians in Techismo are experienced and knowledgeable about all supported technologies.

Are Techismo technicians certified?

It is not the requirement of our companies while most of our technicians have one or more industry standard certifications. Anyone can pass a certification test. So only certifications are not a good indicator of technician’s knowledge. We give value to actual education, knowledge, experience and ability above all else. Our process of the interview goes in depth to discover these things along with how well they communicate and present themselves.

What do brands of products Techismo support?

We support almost all types of companies’ products that manufacture computers, consumer technology devices, computer-related peripherals, and software but it  is not limited to, Dell, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Compaq, Apple, Toshiba, Acer, Gateway, Netgear, Linksys, D-Link, Belkin, Microsoft, McAfee, Symantec (Norton), Kaspersky, Trend Micro, Canon, Lenovo, Samsung, Webroot and Adobe.

Can Techismo connect to my computer and resolve my problem for me?

Yes. Techismo utilizes remote assistance at no additional cost. This is the efficient and most easiest way to see and resolve any issue(s) at hand. A working internet connection is required to resolve many types of issues. Our engineers will also assist you over the phone if your internet connection has stopped working.

Can Techismo fix my internet if there is an outage at my Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

No. Techismo has no control over and does not manage the connection between your ISP and your home.

Will Techismo technicians visit my home or business?

No, Techismo only provides remote technical assistance via the phone or internet. Over 96% of issues can be resolved remotely and the services are unique for the vast majority of issues that may occur with your technology .we can still guide you toward a solution or act on your behalf to achieve a resolution of rest 4% of issues.

Can Techismo access my computer after the remote session has ended?

Absolutely not. if you intentionally request help and then allow us to connect than the only way that our technicians can ever gain access to your computer is. We have not any procedure to log in to your computer without your consent.

What countries do you currently provide service to?

Currently, Techismo only provides services to customers in the United States and Canada only.

Techismo provides remote technical assistance for all computers related devices in your home but it is not limited to, desktops, laptops, monitors, smartphones, tablets, routers, modems, network adapters, digital cameras, software applications, printers, multi-function machines, scanners, and networked electronics.

Is there a limit to the number of devices or issues that I can receive assistance for?

No. Techismo has no limit on the number of your devices that we support or the number of issues that you may present to us, Unlike other services.

Is every technical problem that I may encounter able to be resolved remotely?

No. Most technical issues are related to software, which can be fixed remotely and problems that require physical replacement of parts and need repair or often times cannot be fixed remotely.

Billing & Pricing

How can I pay for Techismo service?

We do not accept cash, money order or check. We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) and debit cards (MasterCard and debit card must have a Visa or logo to be accepted).

If the technician doesn’t resolve my problem, do I still have to pay?

If the engineer has tested everything possible issue to resolve and the problem still occurs, you will receive a full payment. All of our Home Support plans include a 100% money back guarantee on the initial incident.Please visit our Terms & Conditions for full details about our money back guarantee policy. Is my personal information, including card information, secure?

Techismo also maintains PCI compliance which is the industry standard for credit card security practices.Techismo takes extraordinary measures to ensure that all customer data is stored securely and that card information is transferred in the most secure way possible.

How do I update my personal information that is on file, such as credit card, billing information, etc.?

Please call us and a Techismo representative will be happy to update your information.

Am I able to cancel my service?

Yes. Techismo home support plans have not any obligation for your past current support period. For example: if you have a plan for one-year unlimited support, you can simply cancel prior to your next billing date but business plans have additional restrictions depending on the agreement signed. Please speak with a Techismo representative for more details.

Is there a cancellation fee?

No. If you have no longer need the service, Techismo home support plans do not have any extra cancellation fees but the business plans may have additional restrictions depending on the agreement signed. Please speak with a Techismo representative for more details.

How do I cancel my Techismo service?

Please call us and a Techismo representative will be able to assist you with the cancellation process. Before disputing a charge with your bank or credit card company, please contact us and a Techismo representative will work with you to clarify or refund any charges that are in question. If there is any kind of error from your side, we will be sure to rectify it immediately butbBusiness plans may have additional restrictions depending on the agreement signed. Data Backup Service

Does Techismo offer data backup services?

Yes. Data backup plans are separate from our technical support plans. Techismo offers data backup services in addition to our support services.

Is the data backup secure?

Of course. Data is first encrypted to in your device Before uploaded to our servers. It is sent via a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection and then the data is stored in world-class data centers that employ the highest security standards. Additional, you have another security option to use a 256-bit AES key; which is military grade encryption.

Is the Techismo data backup service HIPAA compliant?

Yes. The Techismo data backup service is HIPAA compliant.

If I cancel my data backup service, will my backed up data be lost?

Yes. As soon as your backup account is canceled, all of the backed up data will be deleted from the server for security purposes,
